This invention relates to hydraulic jacks with a piston position monitoring system.

The hydraulic jack comprises a housing 1, preferably in the form of a molded part, a piston 2 without a stuffing box, a rod 3 which is connected to a moving contact of a switch (not shown), and a valve 4 for closing the inlet 5 of the jack inlet and outlet in the lower end of the stroke of the piston 2 (the position shown in the right half of Fig. 1).
The piston 2 forms in the housing 1 working cavities 6.7. In housing 1, a plurality of through holes 8-10 are made at several stroke levels of piston 2.
In each of the holes 8-10 placed a sensitive element 11, detecting
the body 12 of which extends into the working cavities 6, 7 of the housing 1. The sealing elements 13, for example gaskets, provide hermetic closure of the openings 8-10 for high pressure in the housing 1 of the jack after the installation of the elements 11.
The electrical output 14 of each element 11 is connected to an apparatus 15 for monitoring and / or recording and / or visualizing the movement of a piston 2 and, possibly, velocity graphs.
Holes 8-10 come out in the working cavity 6.7 of housing 1, which violates the integrity of this surface. But since the piston 2 does not have an omentum which is hermetically adjacent to the inner surface of the housing 1, the heterogeneity of this surface does not matter.
